The camp is centrally located on the Mosel and therefore an ideal base for sightseeing and excursions. The Mosel valley is ideal for cycling and hiking. Through the vineyards, the forrest or along the romantic wine villages. Various walking and cycling maps we have ready for you.
Bicycle tour with a boat trip
From the campsite cycling to the famous village of Bernkastel-Kues. Go towards Kröv along the Mosel, allong beautiful wine villages, up to the town of Bernkastel-Kues, it will be about 25 Km. After the city tour you go to the banks of the Mosel and come the way back by boat.
Walking tour through the forest and vineyards
From the campsite you walk into the district of Trarbach, towards Moseltherme to Bernkasteler way. From there follow the signs (T 6) over the hill to Bernkastel-Kues. (About 5 km). On this hillside is the famous vineyard "Bernkastler Doctor". After time for a siteseeing you´ll travel back with the Mosel cruise ships. Enjoy the unique view of the surrounding vineyards.
Walk through the vineyards and visit a winery cellar
Find out more about the wine and the vineyard to learn during the walk. The city's history of Traben-Trarbach accompanies you into a wine cellar with a historic vault. In the winery you have the possibility to try a glass of fine wine. Back you go along the river, past the Art Nouveau buildings and reach the campsite again. (About 5 km.)

Wine tasting with local winemaker
Test with a local resident winemaker various Mosel wines. Interesting facts about the winery and the work to expand the wines we`ll see this evening. Directbuy is possible.
Barbecue with grilled specialties
Several kind of meat specialities to prepare on the outdoor grill. You may choose from the meat, the salads and the side dishes "All you can eat!"
Wagon ride through the vineyards
Take a tour from the campsite with tractor and wagon through the vineyards. With a glass of wine, the winemaker will tell you a thing or two about the Mosel and its vineyards. Within an hour you`ll be back at the campsite.
Travelling by bus, train or boat
Bus (direct from campsite), Train (2.0 Km) or cruise ships (1.5 km) will take you anywhere along the Mosel for exemple to Trier (oldest city of Germany), Koblenz, Cochem and Bernkastel-Kues.
