Wine experience
Around 1900, Traben-Trarbach was the 2nd largest wine trading town in Europe. The annual shipment by train and ship was estimated at 65,000 fuder (typical Mosel wine cask of about 1000 litres).
Traben-Trarbach is still the city in Germany with the most cellars. More than 20 wines from Traben-Trarbach are stored in the camping wine cellar. In the small cellar museum you can learn more about viticulture and taste the different wines during a tasting.
Guided tours, wine tastings and vineyard tours are regularly offered at the campsite.
